About Dr. Sarah Armstrong
Dr. Sarah Armstrong has been an educator for more than 25 years, serving as a teacher, reading specialist, principal, assistant superintendent, and university instructor for teacher preparation programs. A consultant on leadership development and instructional improvement specializing in the application of brain research in the classroom, Dr. Armstrong conducts workshops at the state and national level. In addition, she serves as adjunct instructor for several universities teaching classes in curriculum and instruction, assessment, risk and resiliency, and school leadership. Her book, "Teaching Smarter with the Brain in Focus" published by Scholastic will be available in August 2008.
